Our Founder
Florian Moerth has helped founders get their businesses off the ground ever since 2011, when he joined the Global Venture Development Team of incubator Rocket Internet.
In 2014, in the wake of his first investments, Florian set up Old Bond Capital – since 2020 known as Sanno Capital. At an early stage of his independent entrepreneurship, he invested in Oscar Health, a technology-based insurance company. Beyond this, Florian Moerth has made further investments, spearheaded financing rounds and provided corporate support, for example for Oura, an innovative wearable company. He also invested in other successful unicorns such as Quantum Systems and Cherry Installments.
Florian Moerth was Chief of Staff to Thomas Ebeling, Chairman & CEO of ProSiebenSat.1 AG – at the time one of the largest independent media groups in Europe. In this role, he was responsible for building a new company division with a focus on sustainable and digital healthcare, especially for the elderly population.
During his career, Florian has advised some of the most prominent opinion formers in tech and media and is highly regarded for his capability and network. Outside his work at Sanno Capital, he also facilitates a cookery program for socially disadvantaged children in Munich and is a member of World Economic Global Shapers, an organization born out of the World Economic Forum (WEF) that supports projects making a positive impact on the local community. He is also a member of the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle (YLC).
